We present a conceptual proposal about the information notion since a naturalist bottom-up point of view. Our theoretical construct propose the information emergence in the physical world as real notion belonging to the systems in the pre-biotic world. And we claim, the information is originated at the same time as the function notion in reality. Even more, the information notion since its origins has a semantic component: information is always “information full of meaning”. We will show, that the ‘meaning aspect’ in the information notion will have the opportunity of an ascending dynamics in the long run of open-ended evolution, because the parallel emergence of hierarchical constraints in living systems.
